School Dinners

The cost of a school meal is £2.69.  Arrangements can be made for pupils requiring a special diet for health or religious reasons. Vegetarian meals are always available. If preferred, pupils may bring a packed lunch which will be eaten in the lunch hall.

If your child is in KS2 and you think they may be entitled to Free School Meals please fill in the application form or contact Alison Palmer via the school office. The application takes a few minutes to complete and your eligibility status will appear on screen within minutes. The school is notified of the outcome directly.

The school does not require any personal financial information to support the application.

Please note: If your child is eligible for Free School Meals, the school receives additional funding so we strongly encourage you to take up this entitlement.

Universal Infant Free School Meals for Reception, Years 1 and 2

All children attending school in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, will be entitled to free school meals, regardless of income or eligibility for benefits. By receiving free school meals you can save up to £400 a year and ensure your child is eating a healthy, balanced meal every day.

When a student is on our Free School Meals register, the school receives extra money for that student which has to be spent only on the education of free school meals students. This extra money is called the Pupil Premium and its purpose is to ensure that children from low income families are not at a financial disadvantage during their education as a result of home circumstances.
