Dear Parents,
Our new topic in this last half term of autumn is Once upon a time and The Christmas story is also a focus in RE lessons.
Please share a variety of these with your child at home- The Gingerbread Man, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Ugly Duckling , Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Please practise the sounds that have been sent home and blend into CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words e.g p a n = pan, t o p = top. Also the dirgraph sounds of sh and the f i sh= fish, th i n= thin
Please ensure your child has a coat at school everyday in case of sudden downpours.
